Imagine... yellow and white trains delivering people to the front gate of Fair Park a year from September — just in time for the 2009 State Fair of Texas.
The grand opening for our new Green Line is coming fast and we're moving quickly to make sure we're ready on time. A little more than 18 months from now you'll be able to ride the Green Line to Deep Ellum, Baylor Medical Center, Fair Park and nearby South Dallas. And a little more than a year later, service will extend southeast to Pleasant Grove and northwest to the Dallas Market Center, Southwestern Medical District, Love Field vicinity, Farmers Branch and Carrollton.

Cultivating Progress and Opportunity
The Green Line will nuture our economy by linking Stemmons corridor jobs in technology, transportation, healthcare, education and services to southeast neighborhoods where residents will outnumber jobs three-to-one by 2025. What's more, it's already attracting exciting mixed-use developments at the forthcoming Baylor, Southwestern Medical District/Parkland, Carrollton and Farmers Branch stations.
