DART Fact Sheet: Blue Line to Rowlett
The nearly five-mile DART Rail Blue Line extension to Rowlett is scheduled to open in December 2012. Work is scheduled to begin in February 2009. DART Fact Sheet: Green Line
With the opening of the first phase of the Green Line, the DART Rail System is on schedule to nearly double in miles, from 48 to 90 miles and grow from 39 stations to 62 stations by 2013. The first phase of the 28-mile, $1.8 billion project extends southeast of downtown Dallas to Fair Park. That section opened on September 14, 2009 along with daily service to Victory Station. DART Fact Sheet: Orange Line
The 14-mile Orange Line is a key component of a regional rail expansion that will lead to the growth of DART's rail network to 90 miles by 2013. The Orange Line will run parallel with the Green Line through Downtown Dallas to Bachman Station in Northwest Dallas. From Bachman Station, the Orange Line heads northwest to the Las Colinas Urban Center in 2011 and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in 2013.Now available: View the latest Orange Line construction update video.

DART Fact Sheet: SLRV
DART is updating its fleet of 115 light rail vehicles (LRV) by inserting a new, low-floor insert between the existing sections of the vehicle adding seating capacity and improving access through level boarding.
